ETF Cost Comparison

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) offer the convenience of individual stocks with the potential diversification of mutual funds. Like individual stocks, ETF shares are traded throughout the day at prices that change based on supply and demand. And like mutual fund shares, ETF shares represent partial ownership of a portfolio that is administered by professionals. Since ETFs may be passively managed, they often have lower annual expenses than actively managed funds.
